Alma Lake

Chair - Parent (term expires 2019)

Currently, Alma volunteers for the non-profit, Starz Unlimited Dance Studio, as the Assistant Organizational Director in Salt Lake City.  She has been a small business owner for many years. Alma just completed a successful four year business partnership with Lisa’s Mop Squad to pursue a new business venture in helping others organize their life, family, and home. Alma’s five children have attended various public schools and charter schools over the years. This has made it possible for her to serve and volunteer on various committees and organizations.  Alma also home schooled four of her children through eight years of education and had the opportunity to help write curriculum for co-ops they attended. Her oldest daughter is in her second year at Southern Utah University.  Two of her daughters attend Pioneer High school.  One of them is in the Music Academy and the other is in the Dance Academy.  She has a daughter who attends a Waldorf middle school, while her youngest son is in Kindergarten at the same Waldorf School.  Alma thoroughly enjoys volunteering and occasionally substituting in his class. She is also studying to be a Master herbalist. She delights in teaching, learning and considers herself a forever student with a great love of history, science, and the creative arts.
