Ruger Memmott finds his roots in dance through training in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom and jazz with such notable teachers as Teddy Forance, Stacey Tookey, Peter Chu, Tre Holloway, Travis Wall, Chelsie Hightower, and Mandy Moore. He was featured in a 2012 issue of Dance Spirit Magazine as one of the "Top 10 Dancers to Watch in 2012". He has been seen in commercials for the IHC "Live" campaign, a principal dance in "Dear Dumb Diary" and a guest performer on "Dancing With the Stars". He received college scholarships to Marymount Manhattan, University of Arts and BYU. He was the national Teen Breakout Artist for Nuvo and first runner up for Best Male Dancer at The Dance Awards. He has appeared in numerous industrials and onstage with Urban Fairytales, Junction and Odyssey Dance Theater. Along with a professional career in dance, Ruger is completing a major in Russian at BYU with an European Studies Minor. He also teaches at several local studios.
